Bean has had a relapse. Emergency clinic has me giving her pain meds tonight, and I've got to get her into the vet first thing in the morning.

Thanks for the good wishes, both of you...she's doing better now. I have pain meds for her when she needs them, and we just need to keep monitoring her to see what a 'normal' pattern is for this.
Hurrah for modern medicine...
